Here is why I say it shouldn't be built at all:
The Town of St. Stephen assumes all maintenance costs associated with the finished civic centre. Why are the taxpayers of St. Stephen left footing the bill for a building being spear-headed by residents of the area who do not pay taxes to the municipality? How do we ensure maintenance costs are shared among all people of the area, and not just those who live inside town limits?
I think the location is great. However I do hope it doesn't turn into just another ice rink. There are more people in the communities that do not skate than those that do.If you get my drift.
